Racket Publishing Nonfiction Book Assessment

A free tool to help authors size up their prospects.

There are so many variables to consider when thinking about writing a nonfiction book. Among the dozens of questions to consider are the following:

  • What's your book about?
  • Got a history of successfully moving copies?
  • What's your marketing budget?
  • Who are the ideal personas for your book?
  • Are you only interested in legacy publishers, or will you consider other options?
  • When do you want your book to drop?
  • How big is your author platform?

What to Expect

Enter the Racket Publishing Nonfiction Book Assessment. It's a 23-question survey designed to size up:

  1. The quality and commercial viability of your nonfiction book idea.
  2. Areas for improvement.
  3. The likelihood that traditional publishers will show interest in your proposal.
  4. Your best publishing options given your specific publishing goals.
  5. And more.

Cost

The RPNBA costs nothing.

Process

After qualifying respondents (to weed out spammers and bots), I'll send the 700-ish-word RPNBA to them. From there, individuals can opt to discuss it with me for a cost of $350 (USD). I'll record it over Zoom and share it with you immediately after the call.
