# A New Coat of Paint

I just finished reading [*When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing*](https://www.amazon.com/When-Scientific-Secrets-Perfect-Timing/dp/0735210624?philsim-20&ref=racketpublishing.com) by Dan Pink. It's an excellent read that made me think. One takeaway: Along with anniversaries, the start of the year is often a time for new beginnings.

Against that backdrop, it was time to refresh the look of this site. The primary change involves its accent color. I swapped out the anodyne green for [a more exciting one](https://www.color-hex.com/color/50c878?ref=racketpublishing.com). The kids call it *emerald*, I'm told.
